It is a picturesque city with sea and sand, parks and sport facilities, friendly people and delicious local food. It has clean air and tourist attractions, cultural events and a nightlife vibrant with music and dance. This all makes it the perfect holiday destination.

Visiting European sea resorts is a great alternative to distant travel. Sopot is a great starting point to explore Poland – visit Gdansk, Gdynia and the Hel Peninsula.

Visit one of the most beautiful Baltic resorts. We invite You!

Sea

It takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach and bathing area. Another 15-minute walk along the shore and you will reach the longest wooden pier on the Baltic Sea. The marina is filled with yachts. On the beach you will find windsurfing and kitesurfing schools and also skimboarding tracks. Especially soothing are the walks along the seashore from autumn to late spring, when there is healing iodine in the air.

Sopot

Sopot is a beautiful, intimate resort where an atmosphere of relaxation is shared by everyone. The famous “Monciak” – the main promenade with the Crooked House, cafes, restaurants and beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, is a must-see when visiting the Tri-City. The Spa House, Southern Park and Gardens with fountains known locally as ‘the inhalation mushrooms’ with mineral spring water – stand as remembrances of pre-war times. There are attractive walking paths along the sea, Sopot Common (Sopockie Błonia – a few hectares of recreational area) and the forests surrounding the city are ideal routes for endless rambles.

Sport

Need something more challenging than a walk? Would you like to try a new sport? From sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing or skim boarding, through to horse riding, tennis and go-karts. There’s something for everyone. Numerous cycle paths, a two-kilometre roller-skating track or even a skate park will help keep you in shape. In addition, the beautiful coastal areas and the forest complex around the city are an ideal place for runners and Nordic walking enthusiasts. Regardless of the weather, you can enjoy the aquapark facilities with a sauna complex and a warm outdoor swimming pool.

Health

Pollution in modern cities, constant rush and stress are not conducive to our health. Why don’t you try the healing springs to rebuild vitality? Sopot is the pearl of Polish health resorts with exceptionally clean air and natural brines, i.e. chloride-sodium, iodide and bromide waters. You can benefit from health baths in the balneology facility and inhalation sessions by fountains known locally as the ‘inhalation mushrooms’ from which flow Sopot’s mineral spring water. Physical renewal is offered by numerous swimming pools with sauna complexes, including an Aqua park. Beauty treatments for the face and body as well as relaxing and health massages are offered within walking distance of our location. We can assist in booking a visit if needed.

Culture

If you need a break from your everyday routine, Sopot is a great attraction. International music stars perform in the Ergo Arena and street artists entertain pedestrians on the promenade. Music and film festivals, museums and art galleries are all at hand. If you wish to dance the night away, you will also find something for yourself. We can assist in booking tickets if needed.

Food

As for restaurants we can recommend our neighbours – you will find good Polish cuisine in the “U Przyjaciol” restaurant and Italian cuisine in “Ristorante Tesoro”. The fried fish in Bar Przystań is famous all over Poland, but there may be queues in high season. Fish dishes are offered by Tawerna Rybaki and Orange Beach – also nearby. There are several dozen restaurants in Sopot serving dishes from all over the world. In summer, you can enjoy meals outside – on tables set on Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street. In season, a decent warm meal can even be found on the beach. The culinary image of the city is complemented by the traditional so-called milk bar “Bursztyn” with Polish cuisine at affordable prices – 20 minutes on foot from our location.

Gdańsk

If you haven’t been to Gdańsk yet, it’s time to catch up! It is a unique city with thousands of years of history, visited by 3 million tourists every year. The historic Main Town with the charming Dluga Street and tenement houses is worth seeing at least once in your life. Gdansk was at the centre of events that shaped the XX century. To learn more visit the Second World War museum and the European Solidarity Centre. We can assist in booking guided tours around Gdańsk if needed.

Gdynia

Gdynia, also called “the city of sea and dreams”, was created in the 1920s as a new port of Poland. Today it is mainly associated with the Open’er Festival. The must sees are the Seaside Boulevard and The Gdynia Aquarium. It is also worth visiting The Emigration Museum that tells the story of emigrants of the last centuries and the Experiment Science Centre, where children and adults can have fun. It is worth finding a moment for a walk in Orłowo, one of the most picturesque districts of Poland. The adventure Park Kolibki has many attractions and rides for fans of thrills.

Local activities

While in Sopot, it is worth visiting Hel and the local Sealarium, which was designed to revive the seal population in the bay. You can get to Hel by a water tram, which runs from the pier in Sopot. Hel is a small city that used to be a fishing village, the sea surrounds it on three sides. Climb up the lighthouse – the view is breathtaking.

Forest

You can enjoy endless walks in the beautiful forests surrounding the city. There is a spectacular view of the sea from the hills of the Tri-City Landscape Park. The postglacial terrain is attractive especially for freeride enthusiasts, as well as … skiers. Łysa Góra is the place where many residents of Sopot practised their first skiing skills.
